our roots

After moving to rural Indiana in 2017, we began to transform our newly purchased acreage into a home and working farm. We began growing strawberries, sweet corn, and vegetables for our own family and soon found we had more than we needed. Our roadside stand began as a simple plastic folding table where would put the surplus of our harvests.

Those days were short lived as word about our produce spread! We happily expanded each of our garden plots with the purpose of providing sweet, fresh, local produce to our community! Today our acreage is dedicated primarily to strawberry and sweet corn production with room to grow! We recently planted ~300 garlic bulbs and plan to experiment with fresh lavender in the coming year. With the help of a local beekeeper we have began keeping honey bees and our farm is home to two active hives currently! Not only do we enjoy the benefits of having pollinators on our farm but we also love the honey that is produced from our strawberries, fruit trees, and other nearby food sources.

In the off-season our sweet corn patches are seeded with Winter Wheat which is tilled into the soil prior to planting our seed. Each season is different but out stand is usually opens in June for strawberries and then again in July through August for sweet corn. We encourage you to like and follow our Facebook page for crop updates and stand status!

Our chocolate labrador monitors our patches for racoons and squirrels and may pay you a friendly visit while you are at the stand.
